The Model (Core Ministry)
The SAF Ministries model is based on the core vision to rescue, nurture and rebuild.
It comprises the construction of children’s villages, which provide a homely environment, where children are housed, clothed, fed, educated and spiritually discipled, with the intention to train and equip them as future leaders. The goal is to provide holistic, residential care for every child so that each one will become a responsible Christian and a productive citizen of Uganda and Africa.
The villages cater for children (2 years of age and above), while SAF Ministries has plans also to set up homes for babies to care for those abandoned or left vulnerable between the age of 0 and 2.
Our Projects
In order to achieve our mission and accomplish our vision, there are key areas that must be addressed and implemented well.
An establishment of a well-functioning school and clinics to foster and facilitate high-quality education and provide modern health care to both our children and the community at large where we operate is a MUST do project. Safe water is another key factor that we need to address. We seek partners to help us set up a modern Pre School, Middle School, and a High School to address cases of poor education and provide quality education.
We also need help to build a modern Clinic where all our children and the community where we operate will receive treatment and counseling to improve their lives. Providing safe water to our children villages is another project that we will have to undertake. To Support any of our projects..
Sustainability
SAF Ministries sustainability initiatives are a critical part of its development strategy. The purpose of our sustainability program is threefold:
1. To generate income that sustains SAF Ministries activities, allowing us to provide for the orphaned children and vulnerable women in our care.
2. To create a training component for SAF Ministries young adults so that they are equipped to become future business leaders.
3. To create employment opportunities for SAF Ministries young adults and for members of the extended community
